DICV’s Ambitious Sustainability Goals for 2025 and Beyond
Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV) today announced its ‘Seven Statements for Sustainability’, a series of goals aimed at reducing its carbon footprint and protecting the local environment. With the aim of making its Chennai plant operations 100% CO2 neutral by 2025, DICV leads the carbon neutrality commitment in the Indian CV industry. The initial set of goals are a part of DICV’s long-term sustainability plan that will be unveiled in multiple phases, setting a new benchmark for the Indian auto industry
BharatBenz inaugurates new dealership in Coimbatore
Expanding its footprint in the Southern region, Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV), in association with Prabal Trucking inaugurated the new BharatBenz dealership in Mettupalayam. The opening of the new touchpoint in Coimbatore, a major hub of the automobile industry, reflects the increasing demand for BharatBenz products in the state of Tamil Nadu.
BharatBenz opens new dealership in Dibrugarh
Expanding its footprint in the Eastern region, Daimler India Commercial Vehicle (DICV) in association with Abutani trucking inaugurated the new BharatBenz workshop in Dibruragh in the state of Assam after Guwahati, Silchar and Nagaon. The opening of the new touchpoint reflects the increasing demand for BharatBenz products in the state of Assam.

Bihar Bus Market Recovering: BharatBenz Delivers 20 Units
Begusarai– Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV) today announced the delivery of 20 units of BharatBenz 1017 buses through its dealer partner Gautam Trucking in Begusarai, one of the primary bus hubs in Bihar. The delivery indicates signs of recovery of the bus segment in the East.
BharatBenz Expands Network in Odisha with PPS Trucking
• PPS Trucking opens third touchpoint in Sambalpur after Chandikol and Bhubaneswar, brings total BharatBenz touchpoints in the state to 12 • BharatBenz’s servicing capacity increased by over 24,000 vehicles a year • Dealer network in Odisha now able to service over 2000 vehicles a month • Mr. Rajaram Krishnamurthy, Vice President, Marketing, Sales and Customer Service at Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV): “Odisha is an important market for DICV with its many mineral rich factories in the state. Current CIO Mr. Chulanga Perera appointed ‘Chief Transformation Officer and Head of Strategy’, replacement CIO to be announced soon.
