DICV Celebrates All-time High Exports

• Export numbers double from previous year, up more than 10% from previous record
• Over 9000 CVs exported to more than 60 markets in 2021
• New export milestones reached include 45,000 vehicles, 9000 CKD kits and 200 million parts
• DICV continues its journey of strong and sustainable growth, acting as a shining example of Make in India for the World

Chennai – Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV) has set another record by exporting over 9000 commercial vehicles since the beginning of 2021. With this, the company crosses new milestones including 45,000 vehicles, 9000 CKD kits and 200 million parts exported. DICV is the only Daimler Truck location worldwide that produces engines, transmissions, trucks and buses at the same site under four brands – BharatBenz, FUSO, Mercedes-Benz, and Freightliner.

India is a key hub for Daimler Trucks, with DICV serving not only growing domestic demand, but also more than 60 export destinations across the globe including markets in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East.
