MFTBC and FUSO distributor PT Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors (KTB; headquarters: Jakarta, President Director: Nobukazu Tanaka) are presenting several new products for the Indonesian market, including a new microbus model and new medium-duty truck variant.

The Next Generation eCanter debuts in Indonesia, the FUSO brand’s largest overseas market

Jakarta, Indonesia/ Kawasaki, Japan - Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC; headquarters: Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture; President and CEO: Karl Deppen) is pleased to announce the all-electric eCanter truck’s debut in Indonesia at the GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS), running from August 10 to the 20th. Following the world premiere of the Next Generation eCanter in September 2022, this will be the first time that the vehicle is being presented to the Indonesian market. MFTBC and FUSO distributor PT Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors (KTB; headquarters: Jakarta, President Director: Nobukazu Tanaka) are planning for the market introduction of the vehicle to take place in 2024.

An opening ceremony for the new Sachiura Parts Center was held on May 30th.

Tramagal, Portugal / Kawasaki, Japan - Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC; headquarters: Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture; President and CEO: Karl Deppen) announces the start of series production for the remodeled all-electric eCanter truck at the Mitsubishi Fuso Truck Europe-Sociedade Europeia de Automóveis, S.A (hereafter MFTE; headquarters: Tramagal, Portugal; President and CEO: Arne Barden) subsidiary plant in Portugal. A celebration of the major milestone took place on March 22nd, with the Prime Minister of Portugal, António Costa, in attendance.

Stuttgart, Germany/Kawasaki, Japan — Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC; headquarters: Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture; President and CEO: Karl Deppen) announces that majority shareholder Daimler Truck Holding AG (“Daimler Truck”) has achieved its financial targets for 2022, benefitting from robust demand in its key markets. At 520,291 units, 14% more trucks and buses were sold in 2022 compared to the previous year (455,445 units). The group’s Truck Asia segment, which includes the FUSO brand, achieved 9% above the previous year in volume sales at 155,967 units.

Kawasaki, Japan - Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC; headquarters: Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture; President and CEO: Karl Deppen) has now opened orders for the fully remodeled all-new electric light-duty ‘eCanter’ truck in Japan. MFTBC sales companies and regional sales units across Japan have started accepting orders from domestic buyers as of March 9, 2023.
