Daimler Trucks’ Regional Center Southern Asia in association with Ugen Auto today inaugurated a new 3S state-of-the-art dealership in Phuentsholing which will cater to Daimler’s commercial vehicle brands of BharatBenz trucks and Fuso buses. This also marks the official market launch for Fuso’s light duty Rosa buses in Bhutan. This second facility is owned and operated by Ugen Auto and reflects the strong growth trajectory of Daimler’s commercial vehicle brands in Bhutan.
Chennai – Daimler Buses India, a unit of Daimler Buses under the umbrella of Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV), looks back at a successful business year 2018. In India, sales of buses, luxury coaches and chassis grew by more than 70 percent to 1,555 units (2017: 906 units), while exports saw an increase of more than 50 percent to 616 units (2017: 405 units). For 2019, Daimler Buses India expects to achieve further significant growth, driven both by domestic and exports business.
Chennai/ Jaipur: BharatBenz handed over its first trucks upgraded according to the new axle load regulations. The milestone was celebrated at customer events in Chennai and Jaipur. The first two upgraded BharatBenz models – a 55-tonne tractor and a 28-tonne rigid truck, are now commercially available at dealerships across India. The brand will upgrade its entire portfolio according to the new axle load regulations in a staggered approach.

The heavy-duty truck has been showcased to operators and truckers across India, touring with a convoy that completed a pan-Indian yatra of 10,000 kilometres over 40 days.
Dharuhera, Haryana – India’s largest BharatBenz service facility has been opened by Dhingra Trucking, an authorized dealer and business partner of Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV) since 2013.
