Recently, we have come across instances of fraudulent job related communication being issued to aspiring job seekers by nefarious external parties in the name of Daimler Truck and / or Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV). With an intent to protect the interests of job aspirants we are issuing this notice to enhance their awareness on this subject and we urge them to remain vigilant.

Fraudulent individuals and / or parties, not a part of Daimler Truck group of companies, have reached out to aspiring job seekers with manipulated documents promising jobs in DICV. The ulterior motive of these fraudulent individuals and / or parties is to cheat unassuming aspirants by promising them jobs and asking them to pay a monetary deposit.

We request job aspirants to be vigilant and note the following before responding to or accepting any communication on jobs from any source:

• Daimler Truck companies follow a Code of Conduct that does not tolerate fraudulent activities, transactions or communication of any nature
• Please be aware of, or check / verify the corporate identity of Daimler Truck on the communication (company letter head) you receive
• The process of recruitment at DICV is conducted by an authorized member of the DICV Human Resources team
• DICV does not ask for any monetary deposit during the recruitment process
• DICV always uses encrypted means of digital communication with job aspirants that only that individual is privy to
• During a recruitment drive, DICV communicates with job aspirants with a legitimate identity and not via common means, such as mobile applications, SMS and so forth
• Always check the email ID when you receive an email – a Daimler Truck email will always be identifiable in this format: Name.Surname@daimlertruck.com
