New axle load regulations: first upgraded BharatBenz models handed over to customers
Chennai/ Jaipur: BharatBenz handed over its first trucks upgraded according to the new axle load regulations. The milestone was celebrated at customer events in Chennai and Jaipur. The first two upgraded BharatBenz models – a 55-tonne tractor and a 28-tonne rigid truck, are now commercially available at dealerships across India. The brand will upgrade its entire portfolio according to the new axle load regulations in a staggered approach.

The opening of this new network touchpoints, owned and operated by KUN Trucking, reflects the strong growth trajectory of BharatBenz in its home region.

(headquartered in Ginancho, Hashima-gun, Gifu; headed by President Yoshihiko Yamaguchi) and S-line Kakamigahara Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Kakamigahara City, Gifu; headed by President Kimihisa Hashimoto).

Up from the original two training centers in Kitsuregawa and Osaka, two new training centers in Shimonoseki and Sendai were opened in 2018, with the fifth opening in January 2019 at the Kawasaki Plant.

Mitsubishi Fuso Deploys Gas Engine Cogeneration System at Kawasaki Plant
Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC; headquarters: Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture; President and CEO Hartmut Schick) is pleased to announce that it has installed and begun operations of a gas engine cogeneration system* at the Kawasaki Plant. A cogeneration system is one that generates more than two types of secondary energy from primary energy continually and concurrently. It uses exhaust heat at the time of power generation in generating vapor to be supplied to the production lines, making more efficient use of energy possible.
