Daimler India Commercial Vehicles receives Golden Peacock Environment Management Award 2017
Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Daimler AG, has been selected as this year’s winner of the prestigious Golden Peacock Environmental Management Award. The award was handed over to DICV MD and CEO Mr. Erich Nesselhauf by Justice Kurian Joseph, Judge of the Supreme Court of India, at the 19th World Congress on Environment Management held in Hyderabad.

Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV) celebrates the next important milestone in its export business. Less than four years after the kick-off, the 10,000th exports vehicle rolled onto the ship at Kamarajar Port near Chennai. The milestone vehicle, a Mercedes-Benz 40-ton heavy- duty tractor for a customer in Indonesia, is part of a batch of about 250 trucks on the way to various markets in South-East Asia.

BharatBenz leads BS-IV transition: more than 1,000 trucks on the road ahead of 1st April deadline
In the countdown to the nationwide introduction of the new BS-IV emissions standards on 1st April 2017, BharatBenz is leading the transition with more than 1,000 BS-IV trucks on Indian roads already. The 1,000th BharatBenz BS-IV truck was handed over to the customer by Autobahn Trucking, which operates three BharatBenz dealerships as the brand’s exclusive dealer in Kerala. The state of Kerala had migrated even earlier to the BS-IV standard in November 2016 already.
BharatBenz expands reach in northern India with Ghaziabad dealership
Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV) in association with Espirit Trucking today inaugurated a new state-of-the-art BharatBenz dealership for its commercial vehicle brands in National Capital Region (NCR), Ghaziabad. The latest addition to DICV‟s domestic sales and service network will cater to BharatBenz trucks and buses as well as to MercedesBenz luxury buses. The opening of this new dealership which is owned and run by Espirit Trucking is an example of how DICV‟s dealer network continues to proliferate deeper into domestic market regions including tier II and tier III cities.
